Education Program
ECOFA has been the only free school in Grand Kay Carrefour since 2015. Working with Those Angels, members of the community have taken leadership and provided the much-needed free education for over 350 students. We have graduated over 10 students from the six grade. This is a major accomplishment as only a fraction of the students attending school will make it pass the six grade. Today, we are working with the community to rebuild the school to provide our students with a safer and more suitable environment to learn.
School bus Program
Our school bus program has been most impactful in the commune of Aux Coteaux. Since its conception in 2017, we have provided free transportation for over a thousand. In 2022, working with the Air Force and San Diego Unified School District, we delivered three more buses to expend our program to Petit-Goave and Gros Morne Gonaives. We look forward to delivering the remaining seven buses in our possession to further expand our program.
Free Healthcare Program
With ongoing unaddressed medical conditions such as high blood pressure and the exacerbation of the health crisis due to the re-emergence of Cholera, it is imperative that the health problem in Haiti is addressed most urgently. The Those Angels, Inc. Mobil Clinic is established as a preventative health care program to provide healthcare education to participants, consultation, and a diagnosis of their medical condition. We also aim to provide them with the medication needed for treatment.
We travel to the regions (rural regions) where the people have no access to medical facilities and are unable to travel to the hospital that are far away. And who are also unable to pay to see the doctor to deliver this care.
